Domaining is a broad term used in the business of buying and
selling domain names. The URL's that you type into your browser
are each unique and original virtual real estate.
Domaining can include the speculation of buying domain names
at low prices in the hopes of selling them later for an increase
in price, or domains can be parked with an aggregator such as
Sedo or NameDrive
to generate ad revenue from type in trafic.
A much smaller but growing segment of the domaining population
is looking towards development. Developing a website around a
domain name with proven traffic is a sure fire money making technique.
Things to watch out for are copyright infringement as several
recent lawsuits have shown lest you be considered a cybersquatter.
