Hotline operator to face court date
Attleboro - A city man who operated his telephone answering
machine as a "Legalize Crack hotline" will face arraignment in
Attleboro District Court stemming from taped messages he left
on the machine.
Christian Miller, 21, faces charges of encouraging the delinquency
of a minor and attempting to cause the operation of an automatic
vending machine without using lawful coinage.
The charges were issued by Attleboro District Court Magistrate
Daniel Sullivan after a show-cause hearing Monday.
Sullivan said Miller will be summoned to court for arraignment,
but no date has been set.
According to police, Miller used alleged obscene language on
the hotline and allegedly told callers how to get items from machines.
