Call Forwarding

Call forwarding allows you to transfer incoming calls to any number that you can direct dial without operator assistance. So how can we use this to our advantage? it can help stop traces or get you free calls. it can also be used to flood the lines of your target business.

let’s look at this service in my part of NYNEX country. To forward calls from your phone to another number you would dial 72# and wait for the dial tone. Then you would dial the number that will be accepting your calls. You will hear two short tones, then normal ringing. As soon as someone answers, call forwarding is in effect. If nobody answers or the line is busy, hang up and try again. This time no answer is required to establish service. To cancel, you simply dial 73#. You will hear two beeps and then the dial tone.

find the phone numbers and addresses for a few business that you think would have a high volume of incoming calls. go to their building and connect to their line. test for call forwarding. if its there you just got lucky. if not you can still call the business office of your rboc and order the service for their number.

after you have compiled a list of numbers with call forwarding go in and forward all of the numbers to your target number. it will take a while for them to get it all straightened out.

another thing you can do with call forwarding is to forward all of the calls from your target number to somewhere else. where? use your imagination. sex lines and payphones seem to be the most obvious but dont forget 911 and their competition. at a payphone you could receive the calls and harrass everyone that calls. they would think that they reached your target and never suspect that they were calling into a payphone booth.

it is possible to set up call forwarding in other states without actually having access to the switch or the telephone line. first call up and order call forwarding for a residential number. a couple of days later call the residential number and pretend to be a repairman from their rboc and say something like the following, “we are having some problems with the phone system in your area, have you encountered any problems? just to be safe i’d like to check your line. After I hang up would you dial 72# and when you hear the dial tone dial xxx-xxxx. should you be connected to anyone other than a nynex operator hang up and we will call back in about 10-15 minutes to correct the problem.”
